Hey readers, You might or might not know this about me but I LOVE television shows! I'm an avid Netflix watcher and I of course watch shows that are new/new-ish, not just old episodes of Friends and One Tree Hill. Starting on September 20 through the first week of October is LOADED with new series premieres and old favorites come back. I started to make a list of shows I wanted to check out and I was shocked at how many were on my list. 6. Which doesn't seem like much, but that doesn't even include what I already watch...But for now I am going to stick to my list. I'm gonna give a little review of everything I've watched so far, in case you haven't checked them out yet and are wondering if you should do so! BlindspotI saw previews for weeks about Blindspot. Just from the small amount of info they give you via commercials, I was intrigued. Roughly, the show is about a woman who is found inside a duffle bag, naked, and covered in tattoos. In the middle of Times Square in NYC. The woman doesn't know who she is and neither does anyone else. As the show goes on, and I'd assume as the series goes on, we will find out her identity. I left out major events and spoilers because chances are you might check out this show. If you've ever seen the movie Memento you will like Blindspot. Would I watch this show again? Yeah I think so, as long as it gets more interesting. Scream Queens Scream Queens has been advertising since, like last year? So of course it was amped up to be something awesome. Ryan Murphy, the creator of many shows but most known for Glee and American Horror story, co-created this show. I was never a fan of Glee but American Horror story was the bomb! Notice I said was, the first two seasons were GREAT but afterwards...not so much. I'm still looking forward to see what Lady Gaga brings to the table. Anyways, SQ brought so many known actors and actresses. You've got Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Jaime Lee Curtis, Niecy Nash, the list could go on. This show is definitely leans more towards the comedy genre. If you liked Scream the movies and Mean Girls you will love this show. The basic summary of the show is there's a murderer dressed as a devil that goes around killing people. Would I watch this show again? Yes, mainly because of the actors and the plot looks like it will go a bit deeper than typical slasher murder shows/movies. LimitlessIf you liked Limitless the movie, I'm sure you tuned in to the premiere or plan to. I would DEFINITELY watch this show again. I feel that if I go into detail I'll give something away by accident. Basically a man was given a drug that makes him the fastest and smartest person in the world. He can find medical cures, solve crimes, maybe even cause problems, you will have to watch and see. Bradley Cooper does show up towards the end of the episode, did he really have to be in the episode if it was only for 2 minutes? Yeah kinda he added something important to the plot! Blood and Oil I'm currently watching Blood & Oil right now and can I just say, I can't get into it. I was going to shut it off but I figured I'd keep watching and I'm glad I did because I saw Whitey! I don't know his real name but he was the basketball coach on One Tree Hill, I love him! Oh and I love Chace Crawford, which is why I wanted to see the show to begin with. At this point would I watch this again? No. At the end of the episode I'll let you know my final verdict. Okay so I finished the episode and I will not be watching this again. Sorry Chace, if I want to see you I'll put on reruns of Gossip Girl. QuanticoI just have to say I REALLY liked this show! I was immediately hooked. I liked the way the show flowed, it made sense. The first maybe 10 minutes gave me a flashback to the beginning of Grey's Anatomy. The first episode where you get to know everyone, but more badass. You get to know the characters, clear plot/mystery, internal issues. The drama is there. If you like drama, action and mystery you should definitely watch this. If you don't know what it's about here's a small summary: a group of hopefuls enter the FBI Academy for training to be an actual FBI agent. There is a terrorist attack and one of the recruits is the mastermind. That's my basic summary however, A LOT more aspects are added but I'm not going to give them away. All in all this premiere week was pretty good. Top of my list was Limitless and Quantico, bottom was Blood & Oil, maybes with Blindspot and Scream Queens. Let me know if you've seen any of these new shows!
Sincerely, Michelle.

Hey guys, Last night I watched the Emmy's starting at 6pm when all the celebs started walking down the red carpet. It's honestly my favorite part of the whole thing. I just watch the award part to finish looking at the fashion! It's sad to say I was very unimpressed this year. A lot of TERRIBLE dresses. By terrible I mean ugly colors and just not looking good on the person wearing it. Don't get me wrong, the people looked stunning, but the outfits were just not up to par. I only picked the top two best and worst dressed. Below I'll tell you what I loved and did not care for. Worst Dressed 1. Heidi Klum- This Versace dress fit her perfectly but it was incredibly hideous. It was Big Bird meets Eve, from Adam and Eve. I know the heat was excruciating but the dress was not meant for the Emmy's. It also looked like different scraps of fabric were pieced together to make the dress. I love Versace but this was a huge disappointment. 2. Tracee Ellis Ross-I was shocked when I found out Tracee was wearing Zac Posen! The color is Pepto Bismal and I strongly dislike ruffles. Ruffles are for little girls and pillows. I don't think this dress was age appropriate either. The dress fits her well but I just can't get past the ruffles, it looks like a fancy pinata. Better luck next time Tracee. Best Dressed 1. Sarah Hyland- How can Zac Posen be on both best and worst dressed lists?! Sarah looked GORGEOUS in this Zac Posen dress. The color, fit and silhouette are beautiful. I would wear this dress in a heartbeat if I ever got the chance to. Her makeup and hair team also did a great job, her look was very put together for such high temperatures! 2. Lady Gaga- Lady Gaga is wearing a black one-shoulder Brandon Maxwell gown. She looks stunning! THIS is how one should dress when attending the Emmy awards. Take note worst dressed! A classic put together look is what always catches my eye, and glitter of course. These were my favorite and least favorite looks from last night. Tell me who was on your list! Comment below and post pictures!
Sincerely, Michelle. Hi everyone, Today is the first game of the season for the New York Giants, my favorite team! Go Giants! It has definitely felt like fall all day with the temperature in the mid 70s, falling leave, cool breeze and even some rain showers. I wanted to make an easy appetizer for the game tonight so I opted for a potato skin recipe that wasn't greasy or extremely fattening. I am a HUGE fan of gathering items for my recipes from my fridge instead of going to the grocery store each time I want to cook. I like to reuse leftovers and try to create new dishes for the second day. For this recipe you will have left over potato which you can use for mashed potatoes or a potato pancake tomorrow. Anyways, below is my recipe for the broccoli and cheese potato with some pictures. Broccoli and Cheese Football-esque Potato |
