Use the code:JXJCX Skincare Samples- Review Number 10! 1.Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate $60-$102 Kiehl’s I had a deluxe size sample of this product and let me tell you, I LOVED it as soon as I applied it. The scent is a bit medicinal but it goes away immediately. The formula has 10.5% pure Vitamin C and that is supposed to reduce lines and wrinkles as well as strengthen the amount of collagen in your skin (elasticity). It worked around my smile lines and helped reduce my pore size. I was previously using the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum with Vitamin C. The Ole smells really good but it does not work as effectively as the Kiehl’s. The Kiehl’s also leaves a slight warming sensation on your skin because of the Vitamin C strength however; it does subside within 30 seconds. If this happens for a longer period of time you may be sensitive or allergic to this formula. Make sure to see your doctor if it gets worse!! Always do your research on products before buying them. I purchased this as soon as the sample ran out. I was disappointed in the packaging because it was plastic and not glass like the Ole. I would rate this a 5. 2.Kiehl’s Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque $32 Kiehls I got a sample with my purchase of the above concentrate. The masque…is bright yellow and it smelled all right. The cranberry seeds were huge! Almost like the size of a sesame seed. I found it really inconvenient that they were so big because as the masque dried the seeds started to fall off my face. I wouldn’t say that this made my skin brighter, maybe stained from the turmeric, but my face was left feeling soft. I would rate this a 2. I did like that my face was soft however, it didn’t do anything else for me. 3. Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream $62-$82 Kiehl’s I had a foil packet of this and it lasted a couple of days. Had a nice scent from what I would assume was the “beech tree extract.” I did not like that it felt extremely greasy and it just laid on the top of my skin and never seemed to absorb into my skin at all. I did use a toner after cleansing so maybe it just didn’t mix, however it shouldn’t be a problem, you know?! I would rate this a 1.5 because I didn’t like it and it seems very overpriced. 4. Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser $36 Sephora I received a deluxe sample of this cleanser and I was excited to try this because I think Murad is a great brand. It does not smell chemically, or like perfume, it’s very fresh and light. Compared to other exfoliating cleansers, this barely exfoliated anything. My skin didn’t look smooth or bright. I will not purchase this product in the full size because it doesn’t do anything for my skin. I exfoliate regularly with acids and grainier textured masks, so it is possible my face has a tolerance. However, if you’re new at exfoliating or using acids on your face this may be great for you! I would rate this a 2. Thanks so much for reading and watching my videos!! Hi Readers, I've recently tried out some new samples and I want to share my experience with you! I love trying out new products so remember to comment with products you want me to try or contact me using the form for a more direct message. Just a reminder these are my opinions and I am not getting paid to talk about these products. Hope you like what I have to say! ---I’m working with Sun of a Chic. That is an amazing deal. Check them out on Instagram @sunofachic and their site http://sunofachic.com, you will not be disappointed! Skincare Samples- Review Number 9! 1. Glamglow Gravity Mud Firming Treatment $69 Sephora You know me, I like anything Glamglow! I wanted to try this for a while and once I saw that Sephora was offering a sample I had to get it! If you love Pina Coladas you would LOVE this! It smells like a summer drink with pineapple and coconut. I let it sit on my face for a while and after 20 minutes I could peel it off. It was extremely hard to peel off. Maybe I didn’t use enough product but it was annoying. I had to wet a cloth to wipe the remaining little spots off. The second time I tried this mask it was a lot easier to pull off. I did not let it dry completely the first time. It did firm my skin but I know it’s only temporary. I don’t think this would be a long-term fix for facial firming. I’d rate this a 3 mainly because of the scent and I like their other products. 2. Kate Somerville RetAsphere 2-in-1 Retinal Night Cream $85 Sephora I had a larger foil packet of this sample. I had it FOREVER and I was holding onto it for some reason. I did not like how thick the cream was and it did smell florally. It felt greasy on my face. I know that the ingredients were real when it comes to retinal because when retinal is used in skincare, the cream is yellow. I’m not sure why it is yellow, but I do know that brands false advertise retinal. If the cream is yellow you’re good! Anyways, it broke me out the first night I used it. Then I waited until it cleared up and used it again. I did not break out. It’s safe to say your skin needs to adjust to a product of that strength. I did notice smoothness but I just really disliked how it felt. I would rate this a 2. It is pricey and I didn’t personally like it however if you try it let me know your thoughts! 3. Dr. Brandt Skincare Needles No More 3-D Filler Mask $95 Sephora I just used this for the first time. I have a deluxe sized sample, and I used it sparingly because I was curious to see if it would work. I plan to use it for a week to see if I notice any changes…So far my face just looks smoother, but whenever I put some kind of lotion on my face looks smoother. I’m curious to see if it does anything! I do think it is outrageous to pay anymore than $60 for skincare products while you’re in your teens, 20s and 30s. If this does work maybe more mature women would like to use this. I would rate this a 2 because I like other Dr. Brandt products. I will also check back in and let you know how these products work! 4. Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask $9-$36 Sephora I received this 1oz sample in my first Birchbox! I’m usually not into haircare products because they always wind up doing more damage to my hair even if it says it will “repair.” This formula is ingredient friendly, which means gluten free, no harsh chemicals, no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, etc. I really like that considering everything you put on your skin eventually will go into your blood stream, I’m pretty sure. I use this last night and my hair felt so smooth afterwards. My breakage is not gone but on the bottle it says it will reduce after three uses, so I will be using it two more times this week. Also!! The sample I got, is actually a full size product. It is worth $9. I would rate this a 4. I will update the post after my 3 uses, make sure to check back! Thanks so much for checking out my post!! I hope you enjoyed what I had to say about these products.I just started a YouTube Channel so please take a look, subscribe, comment and like my videos! Also, follow me on my other accounts!
